Our Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Treatments

Madhuram Women's & General Hospital use a simple test called spirometry to see how well your lungs work. For this test, you blow air into a tube attached to a machine. This lung function test measures how much air you can breathe out and how fast you can do it. We will take your medical history, perform a physical exam and order some tests, like breathing tests.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic lung disease that causes difficulty breathing, coughing, and other symptoms. While there is no cure for COPD, there are various treatments that can help manage symptoms, improve quality of life, and slow the progression of the disease.
